At Urban Digital Color we use several forms printmaking including digital and traditional methods. Our most current and widely used digital printing system is the newly modified 74 inch wide Roland Hi-Fi Jet Pro II and the 50 inch Hi-Fi Jet Pro digital printers with either color pigment or black and white carbon-based inks. The Iris printer, which revolutionized the contemporary printmaking movement is still offered but rarely used. We also produce produce editions with traditional print methods including Intaglio, etching and relief printing.
Follow the links above for more information on these processes, an essay on the nature of digital and traditional printing, and answers to some frequently asked questions and information on how to get started on your project.
